Year in Review 2008

We lost our internet service for about a month before Christmas . . .
and it was tough,
but boy did we get lots more done.

One thing we accomplished was putting together a
Year in Review video for Earl's family back in Louisiana.
The learning curve on this project was HUGE,
but we learned so much and finally were able
to turn out a very amateur production . . . that we are proud of.

2008 was a great year and we are looking forward to 2009!
Blessings to you all!

Oh, can I come live at your house??? Pleeeeease????????? You have so much fun!!!!

PS We used "Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons" with Brenden, rather Doug did, and Brenden was reading at 4!

I'm with Barbara... what a fun-looking 2008!

Jan, did you not have a birthday in '08? I saw everyone else's ages, along with your 12th anniversary... hmmm... strange...

Oh... my... goodness (what little I can claim, lol)! What a monumental feat, and so incredibly well done. You had me laughing out loud. You've set the bar high now, so how are you going to be able to wrap up each coming year? Congratulations on a wonderful year. God's richest blessings on you.

Our house IS fun and doing this project was a good reminder. And yes, I did have a birthday, but since I am the primary photographer, there was only one photo and it just didn't seem "project worthy" - In other words, I didn't like it! I turned 42 in September. Thank you for all of your encouraging words!
Oh Jan! This was SO awesome to watch. But it just made me miss you more.....especially when I heard your laugh at the end!!!! It's just NOT fair that we can't live near each other & hang out and enjoy each other's families and all that! I just know our kids would get along splendidly!
My dad does a "Year in Review" dvd at the end of every year too, and shows it too all of us....including their adventures, as well as the whole family and stuff done w/the grandkids! It's a highlight to watch it and remember all the memories to be grateful for!
I hope the Lord allows our paths to cross again VERY soon.
Love & blessings,
I sat and watched the whole thing. How wonderful! The video and your family. I am going to show it to the rest of the fam tomorrow. I know they will enjoy it too. I would show it to them now but they are all asleep. =)

Jan your photography is wonderful!!! Way to go. Very impressive. Wish we saw you more. I would have you get some of our fam.

love you all.
