A Fall Poem by Molly

Fall
by Molly (age 9)

Red, yellow, brown and orange,
Dancing 'cross the street.

Rakes, rakes, oh where are the rakes?
Oh we need the rakes!

Turkeys, cider, pies and seeds,
Fires, candles, warmth.

Books, blankets, with hot chocolate,
by the fire warm.

Light the logs and the candles, heat up the cider, 'cause I'm on my way over!

Great job Molly! I love the part about books and blankets. You've sure got your priorities straight! I love to read and the greatest thing about fall and winter is curling up with a good book! Keep writing!
